Product & Services

How it works

1. A host creates a question and chooses a reveal date and time.
2. The host shares an invitation link. Players join and submit their guesses for free.
3. Other players’ answers stay hidden, including from the host, until the reveal time.
4. At reveal time, answers become available in the game and are sent by email. Email delivery may be delayed.

For example, friends might ask, “Where will we take our next group trip?” Everyone saves a guess and comes back to compare answers. No prize is offered for guessing correctly.

What customers pay for

Players always join and guess for free. Hosts pay for additional game creation and participant capacity. Payment does not depend on a guess, a result, or who is correct.

• New accounts receive 3 free games, each with up to 20 players.
• A one-time purchase of USD $5 buys 10 credits. There is no subscription.
• After the free games, 1 credit starts a game for up to 20 players.
• Each additional 20 player spots in one game costs 1 purchased credit, up to 100 players. This also applies to free games.
• Saving a draft is free. Publishing a game or confirming a capacity increase consumes the displayed allowance or credits.

Only adults may purchase. Any applicable taxes are shown at checkout. Payments go to WhoGuessed’s operator for these software services, not to hosts or participants as winnings.

How credits and delivery work

Stripe processes checkout. After a successful payment is confirmed, credits are added to the purchasing account. Credits can only be used to start games or increase a game’s player capacity within WhoGuessed.

Credits are not transferable, are not cash or an investment, and cannot be redeemed for cash except where required by law. They cannot be staked on predictions or paid out to other users.

Purchases are final, with no voluntary refunds for a change of mind or unused credits, except where required by law. If a charge is incorrect or credits are missing, contact support@whoguessed.com. See our Payments & Refunds policy for the full purchase terms and statutory protections.

No betting, wagering, or prize competitions

Betting and wagering are prohibited. Do not use WhoGuessed to organize or facilitate betting, wagering, paid-entry contests, prize schemes, or payments between participants. This includes arranging stakes or prizes outside WhoGuessed for a game hosted here.

WhoGuessed does not offer cash, gift cards, or material prizes for predictions. We do not collect stakes, hold prize pools, process payments between participants, or pay winnings. Purchasing credits does not buy a chance to win anything of monetary or material value.

A host may state an outcome for their group. WhoGuessed does not determine whether a prediction is correct or settle bets.

These rules reflect the prohibited uses in our Terms of Service. Report suspected misuse to support@whoguessed.com. We may investigate and restrict access or remove content as described in those Terms.
