Terms of Service

Agreement and operator

You agree to these Terms of Service when you select the agreement checkbox and confirm your acceptance. We ask you to accept before completing account setup or submitting content. We keep a record of the accepted version and time; merely visiting a public page does not record acceptance. Our Privacy Notice explains how we handle personal information. WhoGuessed is operated by Groundwork Finance LLC.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use WhoGuessed. If you are under 18, you need permission from a parent or legal guardian. Only adults may purchase credits or enter a commercial partnership with WhoGuessed. You are responsible for meeting any additional eligibility rules that apply where you live.

Using the service

WhoGuessed lets a host create a question, invite people to make predictions, and reveal the guesses at a chosen date and time. By default guesses close at reveal time; hosts may choose an earlier deadline. It is for entertainment and personal memories. It does not provide financial, legal, medical, or other professional advice, and it does not guarantee a prediction, outcome, winner, prize, or result.

Do not use WhoGuessed for wagering, paid-entry contests, prize schemes, or payments between participants. A host’s stated result reflects that host’s statement; WhoGuessed does not determine whether a prediction is correct.

Your account and invitations

Keep your account credentials secure and provide information that is accurate for your account. You are responsible for activity that occurs through your account. Share invitation links only with people you intend to invite. An invitation link can be forwarded, and no link should be treated as a promise of secrecy.

Questions, deadlines, and reveal dates may become locked when a game is created. Answers are intended to close at the stated deadline and open at the stated time, subject to service availability. An email notification can be delayed; return to your account to check a game.

Your content

You retain the rights you have in the content you submit. You give Groundwork Finance LLC a limited, non-exclusive permission to host, store, process, display, and transmit that content only as needed to operate WhoGuessed, make it available to authorized game participants, and send service notifications.

You are responsible for your content and for having the rights or permission to share it. Do not submit unlawful, threatening, harassing, infringing, deceptive, or sexually exploitative material; impersonate another person; disclose another person’s private or sensitive information without permission; interfere with the service; attempt unauthorized access; bypass access controls; or send unwanted invitations.

Reports and enforcement

To report harmful content, an unwanted invitation, suspected underage use, impersonation, a privacy concern, or other misuse, email support@whoguessed.com. We may investigate and take steps reasonably necessary to address violations, safety concerns, or legal obligations, including restricting access or removing content.

Credits and purchases

Game credits are purchased for the account used at checkout and allow game creation. They are not money, an investment, or a promise of cash redemption. Creating a game may use a credit; saving a draft does not. Purchases are one-time charges, not subscriptions. The Payments & Refunds page is part of these terms.

Availability and changes

We work to operate WhoGuessed, but the service may be unavailable, interrupted, changed, or discontinued. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation, delivery of every email, or permanent storage. Nothing in these terms limits rights or remedies that cannot legally be limited.

We may update these terms as the service changes. We will post the updated terms here and change the effective date. For material changes, we will provide additional notice where required by law. Continuing to use WhoGuessed after updated terms take effect means you accept them to the extent permitted by law.

Free games and player spots

New accounts receive 3 free games with up to 20 players each. Purchased credits can start additional games or add 20 spots to an individual game, up to 100 players. Extra spots use purchased credits even on a free game. A host who submits a guess occupies a player spot. Current prices and purchase terms are described in our Payments & Refunds policy.
